Day four of the Coast and Castles Route

Over the Moorfoot Hills is a minor road, well surfaced, but through very open countryside - stock up on water and snacks - there are no shops or cafés for almost 25 miles ! After the summit, its all downhill to the finish, right in the heart of the city, just off Princes Street.

You will have an overnight stay here to spend the evening enjoying this wonderful city.

Your hotel is only a short walk away from the finish and just odd the Royal Mile.

This is the one exception to the bed and breakfast normally included in our holidays - here you have the room only though there is a café on the premises and many other restaurants within easy walking distance. 

                         Day 1 Newcastle Upon Tyne to Warkworth / Alnmouth
                            Day 2 Warkworth / Alnmouth to Berwick
                                Day 3 Berwick to Melrose
                                    Day 4 Melrose to Edinburgh
                                        Day 5 Return transport to Newcastle
