Details
Allonby The Allonby Ride is a beautiful and easy circular ride through picturesque villages.

Loweswater/  Mosser Fell A lovely ride past this pretty lake and into the fells with on- and off- road options. The ride can be extended by parking at Whinlatter Visitor Centre and cycling down to the start at Lorton, but this does involve a long climb back to 318m. Click
Solway Firth Coastline Flat large expanse of countryside, rarely above 100 feet. Bird sanctuary on marshes. Good views. Much of interest historically from the Roman Wall & remains through the Reivers and more recent local history Click
Cockermouth  Bassenthwaite This route gets you away from it all, with spectacular views of  Bassenthwaite Lake and on to Keswick, also a good spot for a picnic.

Crummock Water A good summer’s day ride with an adventurous feel, not for the faint hearted! Click
Caldbeck & Uldale Using the Cumbria Way, this route offers and exciting climb up Skiddaw (Cockup) to Skiddaw House and down Bowscale Fell to Mosedale, returning to the cycleway via Hesket Newmarket and the Reivers Route.

Cockermouth  Loweswater This route down the Lorton Valley and along the River Cocker takes you to Loweswater, a delightful picnic spot and with an optional short cut back from Ullock, saving 8 miles. Click
