Reivers Route - Day 3 n
the third day of the Reivers Route, the majority of the ride is through the Forest Park to
Falstone. Here the views of Kielder Water (the largest reservoir in Europe) are
stunning. You have a choice of routes around the water and you can even "cheat" a
little by taking the ferry (bikes welcome on board but booking essential) from Leaplish
Waterside Park to the Visitors Centre at Tower Knowe, right at the dam. From here it is
only a mile into the village of Falstone from where you follow the River
North Tyne along a gradually flattening route to Bellingham .
