ur coach will collect you from your Hotel after breakfast, and take you and your bike to the start of the C2C at Whitehaven harbour. Here, it is customary to "dip your wheels" in the Irish Sea before setting off on your adventure. he day's ride takes you through Whitehaven town and into the countryside, steadily beginning to climb through tiny villages, with Loweswater being the first Lakeside ride at about the half-way mark.

rom here, a flatter section along the Lorton Valley brings you to your first real climb - up and over the Whinlatter Pass, rewarding you with wonderful views down towards Bassenthwaite Lake from the top.

steep downhill ride now takes you into the Derwent Valley where you make your way back to the same accommodation as your first night.
